National Stationery Show 2013

Alright fellow paper lovers, get ready!!! I’m giving you one, giant National Stationery Show recap today! As most of you know, I was lucky enough to attend NSS this year (for the first time) and it really blew me away! Now, if you want the ins and outs of all the booths and products, I suggest you head over to Oh So Beautiful Paper where Nole is covering it in-depth, but I wanted to share a few of my absolute favorite booth elements and products that I spotted. All party oriented, of course. You know I have a one-track mind! This is an epic post, but I hope you stationery nerds like me enjoy! Disclaimer: I cannot take photos without natural light to save my life, so please excuse the less-than-perfect quality!

This. Desk. I wanted to take it home with me, so badly. Dear Hancock rocked it. This is by far my favorite booth design element. It is genius, making their famous desk illustrations life-size! I’ve also always been obsessed with their truck/car cards forever. The birthday theme ones are just too awesome! Every card at Dear Hancock I want to frame and hang on my wall.

Kites! I’ve been wanting to do some kite DIYs for awhile and the Mr. Boddington’s Studio booth has that desire reignited! I loved the kite backdrop they created, and I also loved their gift wrap. How cute is the popsicle one for summer gifting!?

Balloon spotting! I wanted to live in the Sugar Paper booth, with striped walls, giant balloons and string lights hanging above. They also use a hefty amount of gold, so you know I’m sold. I think the gift tags may have been my favorite product, I kind of want to turn them into bunting.

It was a true party up in The Great Lakes Goods booth. Fringe curtains, balloons, confetti, the works! We speak the same language. I think I told them 345 times how obsessed I was with those giant wooden jingle bells. Is it Christmas yet!?

The painterly walls at Yellow Owl Workshop made me want to do a copy-cat photo backdrop, and they even had some new cards to match! Gorgeous.

I was so excited to learn that Shana Frase (work below) is based right near me here in LA! I’m over the moon in love with the colors in her work so her booth had me going crazy! How fun is the Christmas cracker print!? Shana made it because it’s her family tradition to crack a few of these open each holiday season!

And to end on a note you all love… paper flowers. Snow & Graham brought it, covering their entire booth in these beauties!
