Have I told you all that I secretly wish I was Southern? The comfort food, the over-the-top desserts, the free use of the word “y’all.” Ok, I’m jealous. Well, this wedding didn’t help me overcome that one bit. Ashley and Quinn had a true Tennessee wedding at a storybook-like location, Front Porch Farms. It was a true down home, and homemade affair, photographed by Wedlock Images, with modern details and that enviable Southern tradition.
See those pretty print bridesmaid dresses, they were handmade by the bride herself! And the bouquets? Ashley made those, too!
Fittingly, Front Porch Farms has the most exquisite front porch, complete with a swing and the ideal spot for post “I do” photo ops! Dying over Ashley’s wedding dress? Not only is it totally adorable, she picked it up at a Brides Against Breast Cancer sale to support cancer research. Serious score, in so many ways!
Marrying nextdoor to one of our nation’s music capitals, Nashville, nothing would be more fitting than a record guest book. These will look fab hanging on Ashley + Quinn’s wall after the big day!
I’m loving these eclectic centerpieces full of found objects. Varied DIY centerpieces making a reception all the more exciting and eye-catching, no?
Per usual, it’s the food that has me wanting more. First guests dined on a truly distinct, homecooked southern meal thanks to Mrs. J’s Baking & Catering. Yum. But why stop there? Doing it up right, a vast spread of homemade desserts was awaiting everyone post-dinner and grandma’s own homemade jam was jarred up and sent off as favors.
Congratulations Ashley and Quinn on a truly perfect Southern affair!
